The promise

Every tool on GoWin is free. There are no usage limits, no watermarks, no ads inside the tools, and no premium tier that quietly takes features away from the free version.

If we ever build something more advanced — say, a hosted version for teams — it will sit alongside the free tools, never on top of them. The unit converter you used today will still be free tomorrow.

Why we can promise this

The site is genuinely cheap to run. The tools work in your browser, which means we don't pay for compute every time someone calculates compound interest or formats some JSON. There's no per-user cost. Hosting is mostly static files served from a CDN.

Because the cost stays small as the audience grows, the price doesn't need to grow either. It can keep being zero.

What "for life" means

It means: as long as we're around, the free tier is the only tier. The tools you use today will be the same tools you use in a few years — same shape, same speed, same price.

And if we ever stop being around, the tools are simple enough that the source could keep running somewhere else. That's the kind of permanence we want a small utility to have.

The honest part

We're not anti-business. Plenty of great products charge money and they should — they hold your data, they support you, they keep your team in sync. That's worth paying for.

But a calculator? A converter? A formatter? Those are tools. Tools should be free, fast, and forgettable. So that's what we make.
