Which fuel economy unit should I use?
MPG for the US, km/L in much of Asia, and L/100km in the UK, EU and Australia. Use whichever your car or owner's manual reports.
How do I find my real-world fuel economy?
Fill the tank, reset the trip meter, drive normally, refill, and divide miles (or km) driven by the fuel added. Most modern cars also display average MPG/km-L on the dashboard.
Does this work for diesel and EVs?
